2 – PRODUCTION
Good reflexes to have during production:
1 – Request written authorisation from Novelis PAE for any modification of a reference or manufacturing process
2 – Request written exemption in the event of a manufacturing difference
3 – Send delivery notes endorsed by the date and the receiver’s name for parts supplied by Novelis PAE
4 – Warn Novelis PAE as early as possible and in writing of any foreseen delay.
5 – All these requests must be forwarded to the Project Manager.
2-1 The trade reference is equivalent to the one ordered. Since it’s an equivalent item, do I need to warn Novelis PAE?

3 – PRE-ACCEPTANCE
Pre-acceptance is performed by the supplier. For successful pre-acceptance:
1 – Assemblies must be complete and assembled as far as possible. Manufacturer and EC identification plates must be affixed and engraved
2 – Assemblies must be clean (oil, grease, marks, chips, weld splatter, etc.)
3 – Parts or unassembled or unmounted assemblies must be grouped together for each machine
4 – Individual labelling for each machine with Novelis PAE numbers of unassembled or unmounted parts
5 – Unmounted fixings must be sorted by machine and must be identified
6 – Results of these inspections must be entered on the inspection report, photos must be included and everything must be returned to the Project Manager.
An acceptance inspection by Novelis PAE cannot take place without having previously forwarded the inspection report and photos of the assembly to the Project Manager.
3-1 A limit switch is part of the assembly. Should I mount it?
